Elm Street Waterline Replacement

The Slippery Rock Municipal Authority will be doing a water line replacement along Elm Street. Work on the water line is planned to begin in July, water service will be interrupted during reconnection of service lines, residents affected will be notified prior to shut down. There will be temporary closures of the roads during construction. This project is estimated to be completed the week of July 27th. Thank you for your patience during this time.

SRMA will begin replacing the waterline on Elm Street.
80 ft of progress has been made. The crews will begin work again on 07/13/2026.
Please be aware, Elm Street will be closed from New Castle Street to West Cooper Street to through traffic- local traffic only. Access to Gateway Park's parking lot will be available.

SRMA will begin asphalt removal on Elm Street to prep for the replacement of the waterline.
